Aerial video

Aerial footage that gives your story a sense of place

A few seconds of smooth, well-planned aerial footage can establish scale, location and momentum better than anything else in a video. SiouxSky captures aerial sequences for marketing, recruiting, project updates and events — either as finished short edits or as footage for your own editor or agency.

The challenge

Why clients ask for aerial video

  • Videos lack an establishing shot

Without context, viewers don't understand where a business is or how big an operation really is.

  • Footage is shaky or aimless

Unplanned drone clips rarely cut well into a professional video.

  • Different channels need different formats

Websites, presentations and social platforms each expect different lengths and aspect ratios.

Scope & limitations

What this service is — and isn't

  • Flights over crowds or people not involved in the operation are avoided, which shapes how event footage is planned.
  • Restricted and controlled airspace can limit locations, altitude and timing.
  • Wind and precipitation affect footage quality; shoots may be rescheduled for smooth results.

How it works

How it works: Aerial Video

  1. 01

    Submit project details

Tell us the location, what you need captured, your timeframe and how the results will be used.

Share the purpose, audience, target length and any script or examples.

  2. 02

    Receive a scope and quote

You get a written scope listing views, deliverables, schedule assumptions and price — before anything is booked.

The quote includes the shot plan, edit scope, formats and usage terms.

  3. 03

    Confirm schedule and flight feasibility

Airspace, permissions, site access, weather and on-site conditions are reviewed and a flight window is set.

Locations, permissions, airspace and a calm-weather window are confirmed.

  4. 04

    Receive the agreed deliverables

Edited, organized files are delivered to the structure agreed in your scope.

Edited videos and agreed raw footage are delivered in your required formats.

Every flight depends on airspace, property-owner and site permissions, weather, site conditions and the regulations that apply at the time. If a flight can't be completed safely and legally, it won't be attempted — and you'll know before the visit.
